Hele Hunter
in all fairness dont you think it could have been pure chance that they brought it back to you they have a natural predatory instinct not something that can be worn away by good treatment well i think if ollie is getting his ferrets not to ay up then fair enough. keep it up
Roughshot
People have said to move stealthily up to the warren. What happens then if you start banging away with a shotgun or there is a lurcher runing about. Do the remaining rabbits stop bolting? henry d
Rabbits hear all sorts of noises when below ground, cattle moving over the burry, foxes sniffing at the holes, tractors diving by, however a 2 legged animal messing about at the hole mouths for 10-20 seconds at a time is danger if the person isn`t careful of the direction of the wind and how much noise he`s making. As for gunfire, it`s the same as tractors, gas guns, pheasant drives........ Ollie, I am making a VERY serious offer for your ferrets, I will give you £100 for each and every ferret that can retrieve a rabbit to hand, just let me know where you live and we can get this deal on. I`m very very serious about this.
