Magpies are gay Posted May 4, 2004 Report Share Posted May 4, 2004 i tried this, i made a nest put it under a oak tree ( that i knew crows sat in ) with a egg inside and one broken not far from the nest!...waited about 1hr the only thing that cam was the crows that sat in the tree, they didnt seem 2 be at all interested in the egg's. And just flew off about 10 mins l8er! but im gonna try it again soon some were else! and its real obviouse its there and hide real well! might work! plinker Posted May 28, 2004 Report Share Posted May 28, 2004 i use broken eggs between two plastic maggies placed in a field about 50 yds from the hedge i sit in the hedge and wait for the crows and jackdaws to circle they just cant resist it.when ive nailed one i but it with the maggies with its wings stretched then they really go wild. i use this a lot it is simple and very effective good hunting! plinker Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
