Cartridges, modern v's old papercase

Recommended Posts

Modern plastic case cartridges are of varying speeds from different manufactures, that's all I've known since the mid 80's. I've got a selection of old papercase onesΒ  mostly Eley inc' Eley Kynoch. Back then I assume cartridge powder was more like "all the same" & one speed fits all. Would my old cart's be softer shooting than today's equivalent (30g) being a slower powder ?

I still use Eley Kynoch stamped Grand Prix,Maximum and Hymax and i wouldn`t say they`re softer shooting than many modern loadings. They`re still very effective tho` and have better perfume in them !!!!!!!

If you could bottle it πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
