yickdaz Posted September 17, 2022 Report Share Posted September 17, 2022 Shot the same barley stubble we shot 103 on last sat, nice wind today so knew that woukd keep them on the move although they wanted to go in on the down wind side of the field whilst watching them enough birds we're pulling to the upwind side of it so I set up at 1pm with the wind at my back on a ditch side that had tall bracken growing on the bank enough to give cover and let the hide blend in, set the rotary and flapper up and 12 decoys birds came from the off slipping and sliding in the wind the whole session gave tricky testing shooting a lot of instinctive shooting they slowed up about 5pm so called it a day a lot of packing up and birds to find total was 125 picked and about 10 lost Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nice to see that you have them still on stubbles , I’m not able to find a good number at present although I’ve just received a request for six hundred. So I will have to keep looking.
