rsrjerry
Not sure if be of any use to anyone ? But in my work I use many trail/wildlife cameras A while back I made up some fixings Reason for this was always finding using the supplied straps , tree too big or too small , some cameras come with a fixing that I find are useless and won’t hold weight of camera. Anyway please see pics, I find them excellent , simple screw in to tree / post and you can angle them how you want: need them and by using a wing nut it allows you to choose the position you need and then tighten back. Parts per fixing. 1 x 5 inch vine eye, 2 x 20mm x M6 penny washers 1 x 1/4 unc 2 inch bolt , nut and wing nut. Walker570
Yes I made up some similar items for my cameras, much better than straps and things. I also made up some 1/4 inch diameter metal rods, pointed with a small bolt to fit the camera welded to the top. These are about 18 inches high and handy when a useful tree or post is not available.
