Front mounted thermal clip on for scope/s

I'm debating on purchasing a thermal clip on, as above. The reason being is that I don't want to have a dedicated thermal scope, but something that I can interchange on all my rifles/scopes. My budget is up to £2500 but the 'cheaper' the better, without losing too much quality. It would be used for rabbit's, rats and fox.

Does anyone use one and what is recommended?

Thanks. I could 'up' my budget quite a bit, but can't justify spending a hell of a lot for something that would be used a few times a year. I'll have a good think about it though.

The problem being steve you get what you pay for as Rabbits and Rats an add on with an IR you will get away with as for the Fox straight Thermal depending on what Rifles you intend to use i got three Wraiths  and one thermal for my dedicated foxing rifle

I agree. I use a Vulpine Mk3 with Solaris SRX IR on my rifles at the moment, and I also have an Axion30 thermal spotter. My main rifle for foxing is my .243 which I suppose I could fit a dedicated thermal scope. My other rifles are .22 FAC air, .22lr, .22 Hornet, .204 Ruger and .308 (mainly used on the range)

Are they all open to vermin control the 22lr or the 22FAc is plenty for Rabbits and Rats your 204 is plenty for fox and keep 243 and 308 for pigs or Deer

Yes, they are all open to AOLQ. I do intend using my .204 more next year, but it's a heavy rifle (Howa 1500)and would probably be used for Fox. There's no pigs or deer on my permissions. I do like the .243 on Fox though.

I had a 22-250 heavy its not good when foxing you don't need a heavy barrel you only take a couple of shots in a night and they may be a couple of hrs apart

I agree. My .204 is a heavy barrel and with everything added, scope, moderator etc, it's very heavy. It's okay when used with a tripod etc but to carry it around would be a nightmare. I'm thinking next year to sell it and buy a lighter model.
