London Best
Tyres certainly make a difference. My 110 station wagon dropped 3mpg when I changed from road biased standard tyres to BFG mud terrains. But it’s no use having a fierce dog and pulling it’s teeth out. We did a 153 mile round trip on Monday and my wife’s Discovery Sport did 47mpg. That is with wifey driving, and she is on and off the accelerator all the time. I generally get about 2mpg more. simcgunner
The kuga would be ok but only if you can get it with 17 inch wheels and the 188hp diesel engine 4x4 offered to executives. otherwise its just a run of the mill underpowered car like the rest.
