i had same problem the other day, freezes up ,and you need to start pc again.my problem was the graphics card/video card. i slowed the video accelerator down and it ok now, think you got to go into computer management, and go into settings for video card,an slow it down,or replace video card.might even get away with reinstalling or updating drivers for card . <_<

operating system?

have you installed any software that could be causing the problem?

when it freezes do you get a blue screen with an error message?
