  1. I'm afraid not. My ticket expires soon and I am not renewing it so the gun has to be sold.
  2. Just found an ABS hard case languishing in a cupboard that I will include in the sale - I'm also open to offers for the gun.
  3. 350 Eley Superb No8's + 75 Gamebore Blue Diamond No9's - £90 for both (425 cartridges) Unopened box of 250 Hull High Pheasant 30g No6's fibre wad £100 plus 100/150 mixed game shells from Eley, Gamebore, Hull etc so about 350/400 in total. Collect only from Croydon area, will need to see valid certificate.
  4. For sale is my superb AYA 53 sidelock ejector. 28'' unmarked barrels choked improved and half, beautiful unmarked oiled walnut right hand stock with 14 3/4 lop, hand detachable gold washed locks. This gun has been my pride and joy and has been a pleasure to own and shoot and has caused many an admiring glance and comment on shoot days. Fantastic and responsive light weight (6lb 10oz) game gun. This gun falls in between the AYA No 1 and No 2 in their model range and has an RRP of over £12,000 but realistically sells for about £6,500 when new. A bargain at £2,750 including a quality sheepskin lined leather and canvas gunslip.
  5. Should also have mentioned that my Berlingo on a recent (mostly motorway) trip with a fair bit of stuff in the back I got 57mpg!
  6. My best mate and I have three between us, all from new and the oldest is about three years old, none of them have ever missed a beat - buy with confidence.
  7. A simple and concise conclusion
  8. Pigeon conditioner such as Red Band is really good, you can always add a few pellets if you wish. Very odd that they think the method feeder is polluting the lake, it would depend on what bait it was being used with and then it would be almost impossible to introduce enough via a method feeder. As far as the bait is concerned, the fish know what boilies are, just try a different one - CC.Moore Odyssey XXX has been very good for me.
  9. Orvis do a great range of sizes and often have sales with waders often very reduced in price - definitely worth a look, mine have been great. Orvis also have a legendary exchange policy - no questions asked exchange if there is a problem.
  10. He's also been active on other forums too - I got the very same PM here and on Hunting Life.
  11. Where is the shoot? I was thinking of going to Caterham this Sunday.
  12. It's very odd that the site has been down so long on what essentially appears to be an online business - I would have thought that any new site would have been ready to go before taking the old one down. Rebuilding the site wouldn't have been a massive task as they don't have huge amounts of items listed - I can only imagine they have been badly let down by somebody somewhere along the way. They appear to be losing lots of business.
  13. If you want to uninstall Norton you need to go to the Norton site and get their uninstaller.
  14. What's wrong with it? There are other programmes worth trying first - Malwarebytes for one.
  15. Do you want a Saturday or Sunday? I don't want to be the organiser of this meet - but I'm happy to find out about availability and a possible discount.
  16. There is a better than good chance that I could arrange for a bit of a discount at Halliford if there is sufficient interest.
  17. I'd like to have a go too - but will need borrow somebodies pumpy thing Can't make this Sunday as it's Fathers birthday (''I'm 75 don't you know'') but would be interested just about any other time.
  18. Thanks for that LV I thought I saw somewhere that you could add weights to the stock and under the fore end, perhaps Mungler's has all the weights removed, either way at 7lb 6oz it is a lot lighter than the claimed 8lb odd. Chard - I thought I saw somewhere that the problem with finger prints had been eliminated on newer models? C'mon Mung, fess up - is yours a custom jobbie?
  19. Apologies for reviving an old thread - I too had a quick waggle with Munglers weapon today and was surprised at how light and responsive it felt, made my cheap gun feel clumsy by comparison. A quick check on specs however showed it's actually lighter than my gun. Tempted, sorely tempted.
  20. Best not tell you what I shot there today then, I messed up the first stand we shot and it got steadily worse
