george123456789
Starlight32, i don't think that paulypup was asking for free shooting permission but was just asking for advice as even though he has put in time to get shooting permission he hasn't yet, and is probably asking more about organisatioons like nppc. I know that lots of people are joining the forum and are just asking for free premission but i don't think that paulypup was and it seems a bit unfair to me the way you responded to his ask for help...just my thoughts though... BSA Shaun
Unfortunately you have just got to keep door knocking at as many places as you can and not just on your doorstep. Get beating to and get your face known with local farmers and shooters.
Cranfield
The negative response from requests for shooting, are because there have been too many posts with that subject. Often people join and their first post asks for shooting permissions , they get no response and never post again. Gaining permissions is not easy and all you can do is work at it. If you have tried door knocking, then going round the farms offering to do unpaid work in return for some shooting can work (as a last resort). Does the NPPC stretch as far as Northumberland ?
