Yesterday we had the first fine day for ages , but sadly it didn't last , cloud started to build up in the afternoon and once again it started to rain in the early evening and overnight we have had heavy rain , now it have started to clear out but it look like another day where the combine stay in the farm yard.

This day and age with the modern gear make cutting the combinable crops a lot easier than it once was but the problem is the quality of the grain deteriorate when it lay in damp conditions making the price per ton go down hill , still the weather is what it is and at the moment there is very little we can about it , Thankfully.

Another week have passed and still no let up with the very changable weather , this morning it was chucking it down and rain off and on for most of the day , now it look a lovely night with late sunshine .

The combines have been working when conditions allow but now the ground is getting water logged and they are laying idle , a fair bit is done in the area and now most of our rape is cut , the forecast is sunshine and showers for the rest of the week and it is looking like a very wet Saturday .
