ME
The Essex Massive were all at home eating salad and practising their "hom" for Monday Madness so I was on my own today. I was given the choice of clothes shopping with Missus LV at Lakeside shopping centre or taking my eldest son Louis (nearly 7) to our local shoot. Anyway, it was the first time he has come shooting with me and he seems quite interested. I would quite like him to get into clay shooting, can anyone recommend what type of shottie to get him 410 ? 20 ? and give any other tips / advice ? tulkyuk
LV - Start him of with a 410 ( he is still only young yet and you dont want him put off with a sore shoulder) Then move up - 20bore would be fine, but you can also get him shooting a 12 with light loads(24grm) A 410 semi might be a good choice too - wont give him much kick Paul
Ferret Master
A well fitting 28 bore with light loads is also worth considering. FM

Floating Chamber
You could invest a set of Browning 'Little Skeeters'. Boys grow fast; Ferret Master is right, a 20 or 28 gauge would be ideal.

lurcherboy
If he ain't a Essex '******' LV  get him a short stock 20 bore and light loads and he will appreciate the recoil as a manly thing  I will always equate Essex with ****** after all the Mafia's posts despite the fact I will be wearing a dress on Monday. Thank you Essex LB
