JDog
I have a passing interest in quite a few subjects and a detailed knowledge of none. So a gift of a book on butterflies piqued my interest. Butterfly Safari contains some of the most spectacular pictures of all of the UKs butterflies and it is an interesting read. gmm243
I know very little about butterflies but these were on the Verbena in my garden yesterday. Must have been 40 or 50 at some stages.

I have great respect for anyone who gets good photos of butterflies. It's not easy .......... just about to take photo - and off they go! I tried a lot before the digital age, and hate to think how much (then quite expensive) film and processing I wasted trying.
