For sale

Salvinelli Duke 30 " O/U

I have owned it for around a year and it's a pleasure to shoot but I just prefer my other gun.

I bought 2 X super extended teague 3/8 chokes, also had the comb converted to adjustable. It was originally silver actioned but I didn't really like it so has it professionally cold blacked and it looks very good.

All original 5 X chokes, gun socks and case etc.

Yr of sale 2016 ( original receipt)

Weight about 8lb3oz

When I bought it the previous owned had barely used it. I've put less than 2000 carts through it .

Lovely nicely figured straight grained stock.

£1500

A whole lot of gun for the money. After the Monza, which had the odd double discharge problem, new parts were installed, which cured the problem. Then came a range of guns, starting with the Monaco, the London, the Sydney, the Duke etc. The basic mechanics remained the same, but with each new name, came a hefty increase in price.

Had a Monaco for over 11 years and faultless.

This is mickey mouse money for a gun which would cost around £6k new.

Thanks for the comments, it really is a superb gun, feels very much  like my Perazzi MX8 I had for years but I think it's best to stick with just one so I shoot my ugb-25 mainly.

Hopefully someone else "in the know "will spot the bargain they are. A guy shot mine at abbey clay ground a couple of weeks ago and went and spent £3k on in basically my gun, he didn't know mine was coming up for sale.
