Breda 930i

Recommended Posts

Hi All, I've a question for anyone who has or had a Breda 930i semi auto....I had an accident 3 years ago and had all the tendons torn from my left shoulder, now I have pretty much made a complete recovery by do suffer when the weather is cold and damp. So I'm looking to try and save some weight by going to a semi auto as my normal clay gun a Browning XSH...weights in at around the 9lbs ..so anyways I've got my eye on the Breda 930i  and would like to hear from people who have got or had as to what they think of them before shelling out the money to buy one ... my normal cartridge is the 26g lite-speed so I like to know if people have had any cycling issues or any other with this gun...Cheers David.

If it’s a light soft recoiling auto you’re after then Beretta have just brought out a light model. Can’t recall the model off hand, but if you put in Eastfield Gunroom on the tube, Matthew Morgan has just reviewed it. 👍

hello, that sounds interesting Scully, i could not find video from their web site, found it, looks a nice bit of kit in the semi autos

It does doesn’t it! Although I have a Benelli, I don’t think anyone makes a better auto than Beretta.

hello, i have tried a few autos but found either to heavy or still with a good bit of recoil, this one seem to do much better, my O/U is 6.5 llbs and anything over 28 g is to punchy for my old shoulder 🤔🙄,

Have you tried Hull Comp X ? There are also some other good 24grm loads on the market. 👍

I think as long as you stick to 70mm cases there should be no cycling problems even in 24grms, in theory at least, but have no experience of 24’s in an auto.

hello, yes, they do seem to be the best in my O/U for recoil, hoping my renewal will go through as i want to carry on the few times shooting a year

I have no experience of the kick-eeze recoil pads either, but others rate them.
It’ll go through. 👍 Yep, gotta keep going! 🙂
