toying with the idea of getting a panini press................okay...they make a proper panini ...are they any good for cooking anything else....has anyone got one ? and do they cook other stuff....dont want a snack maker....or a george foreman grill

Well a George Forman Grill can do far more than any Panini maker.   :cool1:

Not quite as big as a Corby Trouser Press, you can do full French Sticks in those.

so you can do a steak on it ......does it have temp' control ?....

I use mine for steak mainly

It has a thermostat and an indicator light, then you look through the instructions for the suggested time and off you go.

Have a look on line the instructions and full explanation should be available.
