Guest Mr Pieman
Hi all, I'm currently spending around three days a week with my dad, who lives in Waltham, nr Grimsby. He looks worse every time I see him and he is becoming more frail and oxygen dependant. Having said that, we spend time talking over old shooting stories and time just being in each other's company, both of which is time I enjoy. His chemo is still progressing but doesn't look like it will serve any real purpose. He starts a few days a week at a local hospice tomorrow. Talking to similar people will give him some focus, he thrives on being in company and, as long as his health will let him, he'll try to be an inspiration to those around him. Without sounding morbid, the clock is now counting down and so every day I spend with him I see as a blessing. Its good to know people are thinking about my family during these troubled times, it is much appreciated. Cheers PP
