sidibear
I am currently having a K98 Mauser converted to .410 by a gunshop in Birmingham. You could try contacting the Birmingham proof house direct to see if they can help. 0121 643 3860 info@gunproof.com
the last engineer
the lil skeeters i have used often, the best imo was 12g to 28, running a mod choke the shot pattern was considerably good. http://www.cabelas.com/spod-1/0012774.shtml the brileys as you can imagine will be costly, i havent used them but am told although good are a pain in the butt to use fit and keep safe. http://www.briley.com/index.asp?PageAction...amp;Category=16 as far as being banned, i dont think so, as to importing, it shouldnt be a problem. sidibear
If you dont mine me asking, how much do they want for that to be converted? Its going to be around £150 including the proof and conversion cert, I think its worth it for a classic firearm. The Mauser itself has cost me £150. I was looking for a .410 Enfield originally until I spotted the Mauser. I debated on sourcing a Winchester 9410 but they are rare as rocking horse poo. And as you can guess, as soon as I bought the Mauser a 9410 appeared on GunTrader
