Procull squirrel trap.

Recommended Posts

If birds can get in they will. If hedgehogs can get in they will. Live trapped and then shot (in the cage) eighteen squirrels this year. Also caught two blackbirds and the same hedgehog three times. So IMHO unless you can stope non-target species entering it a live catch trap is better. This Procull has an entrance too small...it seems for adult hedgehogs but I think birds and small hedgehogs may be at risk.

Yeah catching non target species is an issue with spring traps. I always set mine off the ground if I leave it over night. Live traps are better but many people don’t have an air rifle or want to do “cranial concussion”.
