BruceA
GL41 states: This licence allows an ‘authorised person’ to carry out activities in relation to certain species of ‘wild birds’, the ‘permitted target species’, for the purposes of preserving public health or public safety. However, it only mentions 'slips and falls' and 'spread of disease'. Does 'safety' only include 'slips and falls' or are attacks, if they don't lead to a slip or fall, included in the definition of safety? Could such attacks be included under 'safety' as they could foreseeably lead to a slip or fall? sport-preview-goose-chases-a-golfer.webp

old'un
Its possible someone could fall over whilst running from a goose (I presume Canada) but why cant you just use the GL as stated?
ShootingEgg
With Canada geese it's public health!! The poo is full of nasties and on a golf course a ball covered in poop that you have to pick up alot, you're at risk of putting your hand near your face etc. Sod being chased as an excuse on a golf course.
