New shotgun certificate - GMP

Recommended Posts

A lad I shoot with, Mark, brought a couple of his workmates (Richard and Oliver) to a clay shoot in January this year. They liked clay shooting and came with us a few more times. They decided to apply for a licence, but had to use Medcert for their GP report. I think that took them to the end of March. From memory they applied to Greater Manchester Police in April. They had their home visits last week and have just received their certs. Given horror stories around the UK regarding waiting times, they were over the moon. Two decent, safe shooters - just what clay shooting needs.

Oliver came round today and bought a couple of guns, which I bought with them in mind. Both he and Richard are decent shots, considering their limited experience. Richard brought his teenage lad to one shoot, who seemed really keen.

Hats off to GMP. Always had very good service from them, which they seem to continue providing.
