Newbie looking to get into reloading.
BobbyH replied to Ian2037's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
I am in the same boat, with the potential lead ban thing coming in, I want to future proof the .410 and load steel and lead. Separately of course! And I’m also looking at getting a dedicated .410 MEC 600jr and just sitting down for hours and reloading! -
Got any details? Pics? Interested mate! what make and model is it??
-
I have a Webley and Scott .410 bolt action, on a few videos on YouTube shooting it. not sure if it’s the bolt action your after or the O/U junior?
-
Hey all! I currently have a .410 Investarm that I don’t want and I’m after a .410 over and under (non folding) for sub £300 if there’s anything about?
-
I’ll take one
-
Quite a collection! nice nice! Nothing wrong with that, trains are easy (When they don’t strike) and air rifle comps are fun!! what air rifle do you have and what comps do you shoot?
-
Cheers!! I’ll hang off for now!
-
Cheers TC, I have read/heard you can’t shoot steel through anymore than 1/2 choke and the guns I want to get done have full chokes so I’m just future-proofing my guns just in case….or do you think it’s best I wait Untill we know what’s happening?
-
Thanks all! I didn’t know you can get barrels regulated to a cartridge! However, with the guns that I would like having the chokes opened up (for steel and lead shot) they are just for fun. So, I’m not fussed about patterning and all that, as long as I can use steel and lead through them, upto 24gram loads, and maybe hit some clays, I’m happy 🤙🤙

Hi all! Hoping to progress my shooting onto instructor based and pass on my absoloute love for the sport and organisation, I’ll be undertaking my IDW in July, can anyone give me any pointers for it, mostly what to expect? what’s the course like, from what I know you need to hit 8/10 using ‘the method’ I think? Anyone done the course? Including the L1 instructor course?

CPSA no longer allows autos or pumps in skeet comps?
BobbyH replied to flippermaj's topic in Clay Pigeon Shooting
I’m going to be biased as a CPSA member, but this is some good stuff from CPSA!!! Every time I have dealt with them, including courses….they have always given top notch service!
