Bobba
I was browsing my NHS App records and found the annotation “has firearm certificate” (actually it’s a SCG). I wasn’t surprised as I used my GP for the medical cert. But, does anyone know if people use medicert etc whether Medi cert are obliged to let your GP practice know that they have completed your medical cert so that your GP can note your medical records? If they are not required to do so then do the police advise your GP? If neither do is this a glitch in the system that some may hold a SGC/FAC without a note on their medical records? Weihrauch17
I used them and they didn't flag my record, it's a question on the form.

HantsRob
Completing a medical certification doesn't mean you will get a licence. I believe the police will notify your registered GP on issuance of a licence.
