bagged crows

Recommended Posts

Hello :yp: i was wondering, does any one use bagged crows, rook, jackdaws for anything else apart from decoys?? do you give them to some one who wants them?! :) but i dont think any one will want them!

Becuase i dont know what to do with the ones i get! Soo i just bury them! or give them to the man who goes foxing for bait!

The young 'uns are quite good to eat but the older ones are too tough.

Best thing to do is what your doing- giving to somebody who uses them and burrying them- at least you are reintroducing them to the food chain.

You can eat crows etc- just experiment witht hem, see if you like them.

my headkeeper has an old slurry pit which is empty as he gave up dairy a few years back.. in 3weeks theres about 90birds.. mag's , crows.. he hopes to fill the pit up by just larsening.

i dont use crows for decoying anyway as i dont have any decoying equipment
