Same here I guess, politicians seem to be making life even more difficult for farmers.

I don't doubt it; this town/countryside disconnect appears to grow ever larger, certainly amongst the English speaking countries.  Canada seems to have the same issue, and my Irish colleagues appear to think the same.

Not sure what you can do about it though, other than constantly reminding people where their food comes from. 

And possibly point them to the US first amendment, pointing even though they limit freedom of speech, that doesn't extend to arresting people for mean words!
