Oly
The Rem sounds a bit pricey. Everything else seems to be at the usual standard prices. Is it not cheaper to source the Nightforce from someone in the US? Plus, if your sourcing that lot from one dealer I would want a decent discount (i.e. 10% or higher). Not sure what accessories are, and are not, included but Border Barrels do a couple of semi custom rifle set up's for similar money. If you havent already I would certainly check them out first. Axe
Do you really need such a high magnification scope?
JohnGalway
Not a bad price for the Remmy over here, I'm guessing they're Galway prices. If I remember correctly there was someone on Boards.ie saying they got a VSSF II for 1100 Euro in Athy? That may have been a bucket of BS though I am not sure. The other prices would be roughly what I'd expect to pay, but do shop around just incase. It would be worth your while buying Irish Shooters Digest magazine and ring around all of the dealers in there for quotes, can't hurt ya anyway. What mounts are you getting by the way? Myself and a few others use Warnes and they seem to do the job well.

Ya, on the ball, in fact they were Galway prices...I wont mention shop but you know the one I'm on about, v good website (wonder how much more business he gets with having a good website as apposed to most not having one at all). Anyway I will ring around the dealers and will look at getting buying the scope in the states, I know rules and regulations.....have seen the threads...might be over there with work soon BTW my lightforce striker landed, will be taking it for a test run this weekend.............
