Trumpetier Posted yesterday at 08:33 Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:33 As with most springers, practice is required. Springers can be frustrating at times, but also very rewarding. You may need to try many types of pellets also, till you find which one your rifle prefers.
manthing
Do you shoot springers much. It's all about consistency and keeping up the use. I'm just back this year on rifle shooting after a couple of years out, and my grouping used to be 5 shot in a 20mm group, it's 5 in 40mm until I get my eye and consistency back in. Practice, and more practice and find a pellet it likes. When testing pellets run 40-50 down to lead the barrel and then shoot 5 shot groups. Don't chase zero as a gun will never zero with a pellet it doesn't like. You looking for good groups first so as long as the pellets hit your target when you aim at the bull let it be Once you've found a pellet it likes, zero it, again with 5 shot groups then adjust. You may think that's a lot of faffing about but the more you shoot it the better you'll get. Practice and consistency are key with springers, also check out "The Artillery Hold" on tubeyou. Good luck and enjoy.
