bunny_blaster
Anyone have first hand experience of the older 2.0l diesel RAV4’s? 2004ish year. I need to replace my 3 door Audi as it’s no longer practical with the other half going back to work and 2 child seats needed. Also does anyone know the road tax cost on them? scarecrow243
dont know about the diesel but the petrol ones are bad for rust on the fuel lines at the tank
Acerforestry
We have a 2006 and its been fautless mechanically for 6 years (or longer, can't recall without looking at V5). Low 40 ish mpg on a run, 6 gears, its great. one thing to watch as it says above, check the underneath, you'll need to waxoyl it or similar as they do rust

Rewulf
Good solid engine capable of delivering high mileage. Be prepared to pay more than you think you will, this sort of vehicle is fetching high prices at the moment.
