Stealth Stalker
I get granite sink & worktop cut outs all the time, but I think the postage cost might be a bit of a no brainer Go to a local granite manufacturers one night & go through the skip outside there will be enough off cuts, cut outs & scrap to pave your front drive SS

Guest The Outlaw
It could be worth going down to your local stone mason/headstone bloke, that does the headboards for graveyards. They would have small bits kicking about. Tony
Stealth Stalker
Neil, Do you do fitted bedrooms as well or just kitchens? You would then need to bond them together then get them polished. SS

tazkb
oops, should of been 30mm, not 50 !! i have been useing marble/granite plinths for my speakers for some time and i have made several i go to our localish marble man and pay about £15 to £20 for each piece but that is cut and polished then i wrap the edges in timber so they look nice for the missus, i have in the past used some granit from asda or argos which is sold as chopping boards fo around a £10 a piece if it's not thick enough just glue 2 together (i used silicon) and it worked a treat
