sandy22
You shouldn't have to pay €3k for a Sako, even in Ireland. If you can't find one locally at a sensible price have you considered importing from Germany? http://www.triebel.de/suche2_e.php3?bes=&a...r&value=LBR

JRDS
I have just bought the very last Model 75 Varmint Laminate SS in 22-250 that GMK had in stock, £1010 through my local dealer.
tikkamark
Ross you should be able to pick up a sako 85 for in and around €2000 depends where you go the dealer i go to had a .223 sako 85 for €1950 very nice gun but there is the exact same action in my tikka for less money the gun dealer even said so himself there a nice gun but i couldnt justify paying the extra €600-€700 over a tikka fair enough if you have the money to spend go for the sako but i wouldnt overlook a t3 tactical or super-varmint there coming out of the same factory as the sako

JohnGalway
Seen Marks set-up in action, foxes don't like it If you're going to go for a Tikka, I wouldn't get the Varmint or Super Varmint (which is basically a Varmint with bells and whistles).
