Rapid 7 s type

I'm quite new to hunting and i've bought a rapid 7 s type .22 and would like to know of an acurate pointed hunting pellet to use what would suit this i was thinking to go quite light about 14 grain for a faster flatter flight what u think thanks

some people think that pointed are the best for hunting, i used round head, they have more of a punch, and are more accurate, use well known brands and try, try, try i find you cant beat aa's in my s200 , after lots of tins of pellets- comparing groupings and penetration!

I'm tried powerpell today they dont seem bad quite good grouping to say it was a windy day unless they where blown on target lol

There are no good pointed pellets mate, domed are just as effective and much more accurate.

Pointed rounds are no good in air rifles as they don't have the velocity to cut there own trajectory making the point innafective and therefore a burden to accuracy as the point can act as a vain. I use Logun Penetrators theyre ace

I always use powapells and swear by them through my Webley Raider. I find them to have a flatter trajectory to accupells and are excellent on rabbits. I honestly don't understand what the problem is that people seem to have about using them. If they group well through your gun then use them.

I find pointed pellets pass through the rabbits sometimes and they run off, there is definatly better results with domed pellets
