Robby22 Posted December 11, 2007 Report Share Posted December 11, 2007 410's are ok for rabbiting, good for shooting bolting rabbits, ive got a single barrelled bolt action, which isnt ideal, because sometime you need that second shot and reloading can be fiddly, if you want to spend a few hundred, then you could get an auto-depends how much rabbiting you do and your budget?? OneEye Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 I use a Mossberg 500 pump as I got sick of having to pick out jammed spent cartridges from my single barrel gun. gaz7026 Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 Hi i use my lincoln .410 sbs with 3" cartridges and it is absolutely brilliant for rabbits have also used it for flying pigeons and magpies i seem to get more hits than when using the 12 bore, Happy hunting mates.
