fergie
I'm just wondering what configuration you use to make your purse nets. on a dvd i watched it was 11loops add 2 on the next row (13) ad 2 on the next row (15) the 15 rows of 15 loops and the back down 13 next on 11 this ents up being 15 wide and 21 long but it seemed a large net my board/gage/spacer is 2"1/4"
Bigbob
Theres lot of guys make shaped nets i have 10 shaped nets out of the 300 purse nets i use there uless on a windy scottish hill side ,there fine if your in the bussiness of selling nets the amount of twine you can save making shaped nets is great .But if your in the rabbit catching bussiness stick to 16 meshes across and the lenght you require 3'6" minimum And make the odd one 20 meshes wide and see how you like it. But everybodies differnt , a question like this is like asking hemp or nylon ??

Nicky
I start with 7 hoops on the ring and then add 1 loop per row untill you get to 16. Then make another 16 and start loseing a loop per row untill your back to 7 (which you tie round your ring. This way you save a lot of money on hemp string they fit well in your sky rocket.
