lurcherboy
After reading Grenngrass's thread http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...c=47974&hl= I wondered if many here have tried it. One of the ferretting team collected one from a central reseravation a few days ago and has no idea about hanging, prep, reciepes etc. If anyone has please post or point me in the right direction but not to one of those 'we have a reciepe for everything' sites. Mungler
Cook a peacock? You must have a really massive oven to fit it in. Official acknowledgement for legal reasons: Original gag is the work of LV © 2007.

henry d
They`re a lot smaller than you think, my wee spaniel has pegged one. If it`s bigger than a large chicken, I`d stay safe and braise or casserole it.
Mungler
The original gag which is lost in translation / typing was that you would need a really big oven to get a peacock in it, what with the tail plumage of the peacock....
