Hiya guys,

I am just doing some market research for a safari company I want to go into, and would truelly appreciate any info. I do realise that it is private what people spend on their holiday, hence I put in the poll to keep it private, but basically a 10 day safari company that will tailor meet your needs, and will include all the fishing/hunting you require in the package price, including flights, accomodation, transport, everything except food and drink, ammo and bait.

The fishing will be big game fishing from beaches. If fishing, it would also include game drives in game parks for a day or two if wanted.

Any info/advice/tips would be great.......... ???

It all depends where and doing what.

With the mention of "safari", I assume you mean Africa.

I have fished in Namibia and Gambia, both were quite cheap breaks as the accommodation, food, etc., was basic and in Namibia we fished for bronze whaler sharks (and other species) from the beach.

Gambia was slightly more expensive as we also fished from boats on a few days.

Things may have improved somewhat by now, but neither were places that I would take my wife.

I've voted £1250-£1500 but that would be without the flights included.

It depends on what game is shot though? Most places offer some kind of free taxidermy in the price for one or two animals.

Ammo/food and drinks are normally included in the price aswell. You have your set meals each night and obviously most won't drink a lot of alcohol if they have early starts. The last thing you want when paying for a hunting holiday is settling another bill as you leave.
