Edward
Hi, I am making for my GCSE DT project a gun case. And I was wondering if anyone has ever made one from scratch and is it very hard?? Thanks Ed
Big_Sam
Do you mean a case for transporting them, or a gunsafe type thing? If it is a gunsafe there is a BS setting out all the parameters that must be met. For a gun case I would go with wood. Custom fitted to my gun and velvet lined. Leave enough room for cleaning kit etc as well.

webber
Edward Many years ago I taught CDT. Can you give us a better idea of what you want, and what materials you wish to use.. A friend of mine made an excellent case, leather covered, brass fittings etc. The result was stunning, but he was my apprentice. Now in his 40s, whenever he introduces me to anyone, he tells them that I taught him everything he knows. I then add that alas I did not. I taught him nothing about women, and did not teach him to dance. webber
