henry d
.......Get them cut or leave them, I believe that catkins are appearing in the south so the sap is rising. Get any sticks cut ASAP !!!
new to the flock
I cut 4 Hazzel sticks last week, and have a beech, 2 pear, a blue beech, and a hickory picked out and ready to cut one day this week. Have started to get the sap collection tools together and washed up as well...although I think I have around 6 weeks before I will be tapping the maples and the walnuts this year.
