I think it would end up being selective.

It would probably be ok for the divorce and all that but when you want to behead a muzzy chav for nicking a car then I think the rules would change a bit.

And just how far would it go? White women covering up because its against sharia law? No alcohol?

crime will always be committed, no matter what the punishment. islamic states have had this law for centuries, and there is still crime there.

following this law in england would just remove some freedoms of the people that live here, such is getting ****** or dressing like a slag.

I have to wonder how it would be recieved if we went to live in an Islamic country and said we wanted to ignore their rules and laws and say we wanted to follow our own. I am certain that if I emigrated to another country and didn't like it, I would soon find my way home where all was well.

'scuse me??? I thought England had laws, some of the best in the world if not THE best. Yes I know sometimes it doesn't seem like it but a lot of that's down to the daft boogers enforcing it. Start spliting English law into factions and you might as well live in Zimbabwe or Kenya and if you call that living think again HARD!

I think we forget sometimes we are British (English actually by the grace of God) & times were a lot more violent here 100 years ago but people & times change - we came out from post war golden age then Thatcher who shunned society for the individual & now we,re reaping the costs - but this again will change - things always do....BUT to say Muslims have the answer when they subjicate women, incite hate to infidels, stone gay men & women & adulterers etc etc - is a backward step to say the least. I for one do not want to live in a third world medieval state where science and freedom is frowned upon - nor do many Muslims which I why I guess many flee their own countries for a better life here!

The problem as I see it is self-loathing guilt ridden liberals who frown on our great past & deem anything related to Britishness & traditions (which is why we,re losing our gun & hunting rights) as being something to be ashamed of. A copper could give a lad a clip round the proverbial ear some years back, now he,ll be sacked for doing the same thing! If you get invoved with yobs outside your door due to the police (or their managers) not turning up, it's you who will more often than not get arrested. Simple way to solve a lot of the issues is to Fine or imprison the parents when their sprog/s do bad, have an under 16 curfue after 8pm & dare I say it bring back national service (this would also cut mass immigration) - & I,m not that old but drastic times etc.....

Dr Hasan, who has been presiding over sharia courts in Britain for more than 25 years, argues that British law would benefit from integrating aspects of Islamic personal law into the civil system, so that divorces could be rubber-stamped in the same way,

Another chip off the block, trying to get a foot in the door. We have laws, it is they who should adapt to our laws, in our COUNTRY.

Could you imagine suggesting that in a Muslim country, ie; UK Law

I like the " so that divorces could be ", what would be the next one, as I say, a foot in the door.

No benefit whatsoever.

BJ.
