Rookie
Hey all... I just thought id share a few pics of my new toy with you. The weekend before last, i went into my local gun shop with the intention to walk away with a SxS 28g for a bit of fun with the rabbits. I looked around and to be honest there were very few there within my price range. I didnt want to spend to much as i inteded it to be a 'rough' gun, and one that i could keep in the tractor cab with me, if the farmer needs help again this summer during the harvest. I looked around a little more and noticed a lovely honest looking SxS in the rack, and pulled it out to have a closer look. It was so light, and showed real charactor. It turned out to be a 20g AYA Yoeman close to 20 years old. I ended up buying it. I got it for a good price, and 50 shells were thrown in aswell  I got it home, and the more i looked and handled the gun, the more pleased with it i was. The stock was a little short for me, but with a quick phonecall, and a slightly larger, kickeze recoil pad was sent to me the next day. Iv had it about a week and a half now, and if im honest, i think it will turn out to be my primary gun. What i love, is that when out roost shooting, or a bit of what i call 'walk about shooting', i dont worry about marking the gun if i lean it on a tree of a fence post or the like. With my Franchi, because i bought it from new and its in mint condition, this used to worry me. Sad i know lol Anyway i thought id include a few pics; The gun itself... Whilst out roost shooting... With my shooting buddie, and best friends, Benelli M2... Oh, and if your reading this, and have a 20g leather cart belt you would like to sell... let me know All the best... R. Hunter
Nice! Latly I have spent more time looking at older guns, and more sporting guns, then the tactical black sythetic guns my safe became full of Theres a much better feel in an old gun.
