mattyb Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 Went on my 1st beaters day of the season, got up the farm bout half 8 and by 9ish we had sorted teams out and were on are way, first two drives i was walking and there was a lot of BANG BANG o dear, third drive i was standing and mananage to bag my first cock of the day over my left shoulder. Forth drive didnt get a shot, but watched some very high partridge pluked out the sky, fifth drive was a duck/pheasant drive and manage to get my first ever duck followed by another crossing me and then a cock going back. The final drive of the day i was standing and the i manage to bag my self two partridge going over my left shoulder and two fairly high cocks in front, ended the day with 8 for alot of shots but was pleased to bag my 1st ever duck, final bag was 185.
