NewGun
I'm in the process of giving some serious consideration to joining the NPPC. Could anyone give me some advice on how it works, how difficult it is to book your spot at a farm, any pitfalls, or just anything by way of advice ?! Thanks
Guest flightline
NPPC has some land in Lincs. Why don`t you phone John Shooter to discuss? I`ve found NPPC well organised and can`t think of any drawbacks.
pigeon master
Flightline is right, there are no drawbacks if there is some land local to you. As flightline mentions, give John a call and he will let you know if there is any. Welcome to the club if you join. The PM The web site tells you most things, and booking land is as easy as...John can u book me that area for monday...cheers mate, bye. stirky
I joined NPPC in june this year, i think its great value for money. Ive only been out twice so far but on these two trips combined, ive put 174 pigoons in the boot of my van, where else can you get shooting like that for the price you pay. But i do know that i have been lucky, dont expect to join, put your deeks out in your chosen field and shoot pigeons or crows till your arm aches its all about doing your homework or talking to other members in the club to "pool" your information to get the best from your sport. So far i cant find any fault with johns club or the members that ive spoken to.

shooternick
I shot 308 pigeons on land supposedly NPPC land, pigeons had been hitting the field of laid wheat for a week so i rang up the farmer who previously had refused me permission 4 years earlier because NPPC looked after it. I told him it was getting hammered by pigeons and could i have a go at them as no one seemed to be shooting it he said yes get yourself on it and get some shot ive been shooting his land ever since.I was in the NPPC for a number of years and this makes me think some body's not doing their home work!!
