russian sniper
Hi am looking at buying a sako finnfire .22lr soon but i have been told that this gun won't extract/eject live rounds? Sometimes i have to make my CZ HMR safe and it extracts/ejects live rounds no problem. Looking for more info on this as if i can't clear the chamber of a live round i am seriously thinking about buying another CZ452 ATB Daz
alexm
I'm not familiar with the Finnfire, but this surely can't be right? I know that the Sako 75 has a little button you have to press in front of the safety in order to open the bolt with the safety on though.... The same might be true for the Finnfire. Could this be where the confusion is coming from?

Oly
Best range of rimfires that Sako have brought out IMO. Never known them to not eject live rounds  BUY ONE! Only second to Anschutz Edited February 2, 2008 by Oly
Graham M
I own a Finnfire and they are very good at extracting normal cases. However I have a brick of 500 Winchester Sub’s that are proving a problem and I am having to pull a stuck case out every now and then. This is more to do with the tight chamber and slightly over-size cases though I think. Won’t be buying Winchesters again that’s for sure. G.M.
