*NickH*
This may be a stupid question and in the wrong section.... I have been looking at buying a cheapish Landrover Discovery for shooting, a lot of the ones I have looked at have the twin sunroofs and I am wanting to know if they are suitable for shooting from? Does anyone have one or do any lamping from one that might know the answer??? Thanks in advance
highseas
yes but for christ sake put some padding around the edge of the sunroof first to save the brused ribbs

Zapp
I will "third" the advice about padding your ribs, made the same mistake in my mates jeep, owwwwww :o Of course the other option if you arent worried about the paintwork too much (and will be using a shottie) is for the shooter to sit on the bonnet. SNAKEBITE
Plus a bit of padding to soak up any vibration from the body work for those longer rested shots!
sussex lad
http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...788&hl=BOSS Works a treat but get yourself some roofbar padding from a cannoe shop. It's much thicker than pipe lagging with a canvas cover to protect yourself from getting bruised ribs :o
