I have seen a few un named guns which are plain no nonsense ones and seem pretty well built and cheap made in Brescia region. Bet you get more info if you post a pic or 2. casts_by_fly
have you take the barrels off to check? A lot of SBS guns have info around the lugs. Pull the front end, pop off the barrels, and see what you find.

casts_by_fly
none of that rings a bell for me. You might be able to call the proof house to get more details.

beatingisbest
Asfar as i know it is similar to when guns are branded as Eibar, but the italian version. Breda and Franchi were made in the brescia district they are well made guns, i dont doubt that this one you are interested in will be well made. bob300w
Get a magnifying glass on the name and the bird, could the letters A.minc be anything else? Also the woodcock, is it definitly a woodcock? I can find no maker with a name like this, nor a woodcock in use as a trademark.

I can find no Italian makers at all with a bird as a trademark, can you elaborate on the A.minc ? Whereabouts on the gun is this stamp?

bob300w
So there are no marks at all on the rib or barrels? Anything on the butt plate? Any idea of the age of the piece?
