Yonic
Hi I currently shoot a Falcon FN12 and I am looking to upgrade to a multi shot rifle. I have a not very short shortlist of rifles that I am looking at and wanted to get some opions on the merits and downsides of each choice, I know everybody may have a different oppion but any nformation will help. BSA super Ten Logun Axsor S410 S410 T.D.R.. Falcon Raptor Daystate X2 Sport This one would be pushing the budget to the limit though!! Thans in advance. Axeman1984
hello mate i saw on your list s410, i traded one in today as it happens and i can say its a top pice of kit, i had no problems with it what so ever, the only thing to watch is the blueing is a bit thin so it needs oiling after you use it, other than that its a top rifle and holds it value well to, the only reason i choped it in is because i fell in love with a weihrauch hw 100 s now thats a pice of kit i can tell you, its lethal, and the reload is surperb plus you get 2x 14 shot mags with the gun and its whisper quiet its definitely one to add to your list. hope this helps fenman.... monkeyjaimz
If I had to choose from your list: Superten Bullbarrel in .177 and I'd steer clear of any take down rifle, purely because I'm anal about accuracy and theres always a slight chance that anything you take to bits might not go back together EXACTLY the same - ie a fraction of a mm out. Merely my opinion, hope it helps mate
Yonic
If I had to choose from your list: Superten Bullbarrel in .177 What are the advantages of getting the bull barrel version when compared to the silenced version? Cheers jon
monkeyjaimz
The barrel is shorter and shrouded (silenced). The rifle is a little heavy but with the shorter barrel it's a bit more balanced and versatile IMO. A good shooting buddy of mine had one and it was just awesome. peacey
I looked and looked and was in the same situation as you. So many to choose from and no idea which is best. Everyones opinion counts as far as recommending reliability etc but you'll know the one when you pick it up. Go to a good air rifle shop like my local one that has all the ones on your shortlist. A mate of mine shoots with the H100T and it is a great rifle but like you they were out of my budget. But soon as i picked up the S410K that was the one for me. Highly pointable, light and as i have found out, deadly accurate. You will not be disappointed if you choose this rifle. I use mine with air arms field pellets and it's consistent on the chrono at 11.78 ft/lb. Oh and it's the .22 version. Happy shopping and hunting
Yonic
I've been to the local gun shop and had a look at what was there, They had a S41o in both the standard and carbine. Liked the feel of the Carbine so i think this is probably the rifle i am going to go with. May not actually buy it from there though as their prices tend to be on the high side. I've also deceided to go with .177 on this rifle. the single shot is a .22 but I like the idea of the flater trajectory of the .177. I know this question will lead to different answers from different peolpe but do you feel that .177 would be a good idea when moving from the .22. Yes, after shooting .22 you will find it way easier to shoot .

Yonic
Cheers Kipper. Have to say the one I was looking at yesterday felt really good when in the shoulder. All I have to do now is work out the scope I want to put on it. Thinking of the map 6 reticule from Hawke, Use the Airmax SR12 on my .223 and haven't had any problems with it. loopy bunny blaster
axsor is a brilliant rifle, ive shot every one of the rifles you are interested bar the falcon and i would highly reccomend the axsor or the X2 to be honest an s10 dosent compare with the x2 , it shoulders so nicely, top piece of kit. bullterrier
Hope I`m not to late to add my two penneth, The S410 is an excellent rifle to shoot & handle but the blueing is far from the best. The Falcon Raptor is an excellent rifle, accurate, well made & aesthetically pleasing. The only down side is the safety takes some getting used to. The Daystate is accurate & ergonomically well designed & well made. Downsides are quiet heavy & it can take a while to get used to the bolt and the way it indexes the magazine (sometimes you think you`ve indexed it but didn`t actually pull the bolt all the way back).
