Hi sparkmark,

No its not true, there are many good points, first of all if you haven't land well its as a newbe its really good to join because NPPC will send you a list of lands were you can go and shoot as much as you like. Second you don't need to go and know any Farmers to ask them permission. Third I think you get BAsc insurance with the joining of the club.

I think that its excellent for the annual fee needed. I use to one of the members but after a while you start to know Farmers and I got a few permissions now.

So I think overall very good.

Hi Sparkymark,

Im a member and travel over 120 miles to shoot in north Yorkshire and believe me its worth it,

I`v had some good days on nppc land and with no bother and seen some wonderful sights when

there.I think the joining fee is £130 and £100 a year there after. The guy who runs its is called

John Shooter and you won`t meet a nicer fellow. He is currently building a new website so it should

not be to long now before its up and running. If you join you will be happy.--Carbine :good:

Hi Sparkymark,

If you scroll down the topics in NPPC TALK you will find the info you want mate!

I have just received an update list following the end of the game season and the nearest to you is about 25-30 mile away in South Staffs ( A5 )

thats no to bad at all. I would be more than happy to drive twice that distance. Lets just hope the pigeons feed much around there. lol

So you would say that the members are friendly and there could be a good chance of shooting with a few of them?

  • 1 month later...

I live near Boston in Lincolnshire and have been pondering the same question -is it worth me joining? I have no local shooting but believe that the nearest NPPC land is near Newark. That's a long way to go and recce! Any Lincs. boys got any views?

Regards,

Bull
