Don't even attempt it without a spring compressor or a carpenters sash cramp. I hurt myself really badly trying to and scratched the gun at the same time. If you buy your spring from Chambers Gunmakers it comes with ful instructions. Beware their Ultra Spring tho, took mine way into FAC territory and had to take it out again. Steer clear of OX.
