Which Weihrauch

Looking for a weihrauch for hunting rabbits, what model would you recommend as best for the job.

Would a underlever or break barrel be best. Some people have suggested HW57 or a HW95.

can only tell you what i know and i love my hw80k lots of power, very accurate, nice wieght, break barrel, very quiet.

Hi I have the hw97k , lovely rifle , powerful and accurate, deadly to 40 yards for rabbits.

 

but bloody heavy you know when you've been carrying it for a couple of hours.

if you like the looks of the 80, have a look at the 95K as well.

The 95 is a bit lighter, still full power & generally a tad cheaper than the 80 (if cost is an object)

I am in full agreement with vagabond, hw100 for hunting or target a superb rifle accurate and deadly

i have a hw77k and hw97k and can recommend both but the hw97 has the built in silencer

and with a bit of tuning (which is easy) you can get it virtualy recoil free ...plus i think the extra wieght helps absorb the recoil

HW80, I love mine through tin lined up in front of another and straight thru both using pointed

You might want to get sling studs fitted if you are doing rough rooost shooting in large woods for hours, cos jesus they are ******** heavy

if you want a springer get the hw97K if you want a pcp get hw100.......................

Just picked up an immaculate HW80 in .177 with scope, bag and pellets for 200 quid and it's a fantastic bit of kit. Zeroed it in today and it is incredibly accurate and quiet for a springer. A mate of mine has the 97K and that too is a great piece of kit. So between the 2 it's a choice of wether you want break barrel or underlever both are fantastic. But my kit was 40 quid cheaper than my mates ha ha.
