deeksofdoom
I'm having a problem with my Nokia N95 in that i can't connect the bloomin thing to my PC using the USB cable, all the settings seem to be okay but i've tried a few PCs and none of them seem to be detecting the phone, it not the USB cable either coz I've checked that. Anyone have one or have a similar problem?

deeksofdoom
Daft question but have you loaded the software on the comp that come with the phone? Thanks for your reply and yes it is a daft question  I have one, connection works fine, i would re-install software, although i am sure you would have tried that?, i tend to connect with bluetooth, easier than old fashioned usb leads As an aside, what great pics it takes, shame the batt' life isnt better! I may have to try this again but the phone doesn't seem to be recognized by any PC when I connect it. The bluetooth is connecting alright to my PC at home but PC suite isn't working, I prefer to use the USB cable. I think the new version of PC suite is **** compared to the old one. I've some nice pictures that I want too download before I hand it back to the shop. All they'll do is hand me a new phone and I'll lose all the stuff on the old phone. pin
The suggestion of using bluetooth is a good one, that's what I have done in the past. Uninstall all the stuff you have there, get the latest from the nokia website and try that.
Bazooka Joe
D2D, I think your problem is the cable itself, or, are you going through a hub? At the start of the installation, Nokia PC Suite, I'm sure you have to install a driver for the USB Cable. I had the same problem, I changed the cable, reinstalled the driver, then it was OK, Switch to Bluetooth, far better, Hope that helps, BJ. lurcherboy
Deeks, I had the same problem and to remedy it when prompted by the programme, I select the 'find phone' option. Hope this works mate. LB
