Fair enough I think we are all aware the Israelis are no angels but how on earth does that justifry suicide attacks around the world including america and england? If you have a problem with the israelis, take it up with them, dont bomb/ fly planes into innocent people going to work

 

They did take it up with Israel, until America started sticking their nose in others business.

The then did take it up with America too, until Britain started sticking its nose in American Mess!!!!

To be fair, they probably did think that only Tony Blair was to blame, until he was chosen to stay in power even after going to war and spending our tax money. Remember, the biggest protest in the British history was the one against war so I really have no idea why he ignored British public in the first place!!

 

That money would have been better spent on our appalling NHS, our declining pension system, our travel system, and for the education of our children instead of being spent on fighting a war for a money hungry leader (Bush). After spending millions, and after wasting many lives of our lads, we still have to buy more expensive fuel, wait for ages to get anywhere with NHS, and put up with ever increasing cost of travel and general living expenses. Absolutely crazy and disgusting.

I read somewhere that there are over 135000 named individuals who have been killed as a result of Iraq war. One might agree that not all of them were Saddams cousins!! (Even if they were, America made Saddam into who he was, and the power he held). Most of these people were innocent civilians trying to live their lives too.

I hear 50 or over people dying by bombing almost everyday in Iraq. This didn’t happen during the last many years of Saddam. I agree he did kill many thousand during his political campaign against the kurds, but as you say KURDS should have taken it up with him. It should not have been America or Britain going to war against one person after 12 years of him killing those kurds with the help and sponsorship of the americans in the first place. The innocent civilians dying in Iraq today are dying under the Administration of Bush and the UK. The responsibility lies generally on these two forces to provide safety and protection IF they attacked the country in the name of SAFETY in the first place!! If there was rising crime in the UK, we would after all blame the govt of the time wouldn’t we? But I am sure we are clever enough to work out that these wars are not because we wanted to sort out anything, but it is purely greed.

 

Many sons and daughters of proud British families who send their children to the army to serve their country have been disappointed time and time again by ours and the US govts for putting them in danger that they wouldn’t put Prince Harry into. Many brave soldiers have died on both sides and my heart goes to those families who have lost their loved ones due to these wars (on both sides). We may sit here and discuss this but we can not possibly feel their pain.

 

I hope that we and our govts can do good things for us rather than doing bad to others, because there are a lot of children, innocent men and women dying on both sides while the leaders play their greedy games using our tax money.

 

Please spare a thought for all those innocent people who have died due to these greedy and pointless wars. Please also think before you decide that only our side is the right side in this war, and only our people who died are innocent in this war, as this the wrong way to think in the first place. No one is perfect, and we can not possibly improve ourselves unless we realise that there are issues on our side, and that we have also need improvements in our foreign policy.

Muslims are an important part of our society (not only now, but have been for a very long time) and are infact the biggest minority of the UK. Posts like this only spread more hatred on both sides. You don’t make yourself look any better, and it simply doesn’t help. Infact it only shows what kind of bunch we lot are (sadly) !!

 

I read some comments about converting to Islam, and eating curry. I am sorry, but if being a muslim in someone opinion about eating curry, then (after reading this comment) I don’t think that "they" are narrow minded at all.

 

Well done to LB and Digger for their unbiased comments to show the other side of the picture. I fully support your comments and opinions.

Unfortunately my post isn't totally unbiased Gamezbond as I have a soft spot for any underdog.

 

My post is based on the fact that a 1st world nation is bullying a 3rd world one in a bid to suppress, control them, and steal their land. When the Arabs respond with the equivalent of a slingshot in the face of the Israelis military might, courtesy of the USA and Britain among other countries, the Israelis retaliate with helicopter gunships which can target known Hamas members and anyone with the same postcode is guilty by association.

 

The Israelis are under constant rocket attack and live a life in fear, which must be hell, but they appear to do everything possible to guarantee new recruits to the militant ranks.

 

I don't think anyone on this forum will see peace in the middle east in their life and I sincerely hope I'm wrong :blink:
